Today is an odd day. It's Friday, so it's Friday Night Magic and should be at least somewhat busy. Still worried about the girl as she is still feeling miserable. We're still waiting on results from the blood tests they've done. Could be today (hopefully)... could be Monday (suckage)... Preliminary symptoms indicate either mononucleosis or anemia. Neither are fun times for an adolescent girl, but they are conditions one can recover from.
As I stated yesterday, Loquacious and I looked at four possible "new" Gopher holes. Two were immediately eliminated, and the other two are under consideration, but haven't given me the "gut shot" that our current place did, or the spot that we were shown last year that was offered to us, and then reneged on by way of the current tenant, by our current landlord (who we would VERY much like to stay with). One of the new places we looked at though has a LOT of potential to be something VERY amazing, I'm just not certain it's right for us... still need to cogitate on that.

Ugh... Morning comes way too early in the morning. Got about four hours of sleep as Loq and I went looking at potential new Gopher holes. We looked at four places... two were terri-bad... the other two were good. One has a lot of things going for it, but only one bathroom. The other needs a bit more work, but is a HUGE space for the price. Also, its window frontage looks directly at the back of another building, so it's difficult to see from the street.
We're on the hook to see a couple more places, plus word is trickling down that an avenue that we thought completely closed might not be... We'll see how that goes, and we'll keep people posted.
The daughter is still sick, but she has a doctor's appointment today. We'll find out how things are from there.

|Yes, I know that I've been wearing a lot of blue lately. I promise, I'll break out of it tomorrow...|
Okay... the girl has a doctor's appointment for Thursday afternoon. Loquacious and I have speculated a bit about what could be wrong with our darling daughter, but we'll leave the actual diagnosis to the professionals.
Gamewise, not much to report. We have a full slate of RPGs at the Gopher tonight. War of the Dead (Savage Worlds), Verdant Vale (D&D4Ee), and D&D Encounters all happen tonight. Should be a good time for those participating. Me, I'll be off in the corner pricing some of the everflowing supply of MtG cards.
Anyway, I have to go... Shipments are due in and I have to go to the store and pick up some stuff before we open in just over an hour.

Okay... I'm running late, and being half a zombie this morning...
Loq and I were at the emergency room until just after 1AM with our daughter, who was complaining of chest and arm pains and shortness of breath. Tests came back with no real conclusions, although a breathing treament seemed to help at least a little bit. We need to get her into her regular doctor to get more information. Now we just gotta make the time to do so.
Beyond that, I'm just trying to get going so I can get to the store and make orders. I hope you all have a lovely day... =)

Monday and I am running WAYYYY late...
Last night's game was decent, nothing spectacular. I still spent almost as much time helping customers as I did running the game. I feel guilty about it and brought it up to the players. We're going to discuss a more "troupe" style of game where I am not always the GM for all the scenes. That may be the answer to our current problems, but it may end up opening a whole new kettle of fish. Who knows... we'll see...
Since it's 40K night at the store, I get to leave early and have Loq take over. On the agenda tonight... LAUNDRY!
See ya tomorrow...

Hey all... another Sunday. Loq took pity on me and went into to open the store while I snoozed a bit. Thanks, gorgeous!
The Terracide game was enjoyable, although the first session wasn't really a game, but more character creation. In HERO System, with folks who don't know the game all that well, that can take hours. I know the game fairly well, but I spent a fair chunk of time helping others with their characters as well. Overall though, I believe we have a crew that cover most bases of what we will run into out in the vast depths of space.
Today is a bunch of RPGs (including my own HERO System game), some board games, and a little Monsterpocalypse. I need to get going if some of this is going to happen...
